Asheville, North Carolina

Asheville is a very nice place filled with natural wonders and architectural treasures. It is a very conducive place for self-discovery with so many things to see and do.

We enjoyed watching a gorgeous sunset with a seasonal drink at the Grove Park Inn. Yearly there is great picking for Pumpkin as a tradition. You can pick pumpkins nearly at every orchard around Asheville.

A road trip down the famous Blue Ridge Parkway will serve you a great deal. Blue Ridge Parkway is famous for its fall hiking, great tunnels, and waterfalls. You need to drive carefully along this road because often bears and other wildlife may cross the road.

Biltmore’s Gardens are one of America’s largest homes that offers tours with horse stables, walking trails, and wine tasting. We attended one of the fall festivals which were Oktoberfests, art fests, and Hispanic Heritage Month Celebrations.

New York City

I can’t forget the experience on a helicopter with a great view of NYC. My sister loved the Central Park Zoo and the picnic areas. She rode on a horse-drawn carriage and had a great view of the wildlife.

NYC is the leading entertainment destiny in the whole world. It is characterized by Jazz and blues music concerts. You can sip a glass of wine as you enjoy your dinner. Candlelight creates a magical atmosphere that you will appreciate and remember in your lifetime. 

Berkshires Massachusetts

Telluride, Colorado

Telluride is known for its world-class ski slopes. There are 2000 acres of skiable terrain in the San Juan Mountains. There is a mountain village at Telluride Ski Result with a vibrant atmosphere. You will enjoy the yummy food at the restaurants and shops. 

The Mountain Village allows you to have a spectacular view of the surrounding. The mountain’s altitude is about 10, 500 feet.

Dozens of paths are available in the area, some pass through historic landmarks. Town Park to be specific has picturesque picnic spots. If you want to get off the slopes, a walk at the San Juan Skyway will do you good.

While on Colorado roads, there are breathtaking views. Other sights include Mesa Verde National Park and the Ridgway Railroad Museum. Telluride Historical Museum has informative displays and layouts.       


Bermuda is a very nice place to have fun as a family. The waters are blue which makes swimming more interesting. I had fun taking photos at Horseshoe Bay Beach.

The blushing sand is gorgeous during fall and any other time of the year. We paid nothing to visit the beach and water sports equipment was available for rent.

The front street had colorful colonial buildings on the north and a harbor on the south. Tourists love taking a stroll down as they take photos. There is a nice boutique where you can buy presents and a restaurant with yummy delicacies. 

From the reviews, visitors love the elbow beach for is secluded, clean, and good for the eyes.              

Maui, Hawaii

Maui Hawaii is a fun place to be during the fall. Maui is an island with its history and culture. It is definitely one of the best fall travel destinations USA.

You will find great sites as you drive on the road to Hana. The road has a scenic highway that passes through the rainforest. There are waterfalls, incredible scenery, and valley isle excursions.

The Haleakala National Park is located in Maui and is home to the largest dormant volcano craters. The Haleakala National Park occupies 30,000 acres of land.

My sister loved being at the Montezuma Castle National Park where she found a set of preserved cliff dwellings inhabited by the Sinagua people. Visitors explore the Pueblo Ruins and various archeological sites.
